I can offer a safe and non-judgemental place where you can talk about what is worrying you - issues you can’t talk to anyone else about, no matter how close they may be.
Counselling is a chance to work quietly without interruptions at a pace that suits you. I will always respect your values and the coping skills that have helped you in the past. |
The first session is free, as it is a chance for us to decide if counselling is what you want and if we can work together. We can discuss what is troubling you, as well as boundaries of confidentiality in counselling. If at the end you don’t want to continue that’s not a problem. If you decide to continue I will take a short history.
Sessions are usually on a weekly basis and I recommend a minimum of 3-6 sessions – one hour each session. The reason for this is so we can establish an effective and genuine counselling relationship, but this is flexible and can be discussed when we meet. For further information see FAQs page. |
