I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Post Graduate Advanced Certificate in Integrative Counselling with Children and Young People, with the focus on play therapy, Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and a Certificate in Couples Counselling. I also have a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology. I participate in ongoing training as part of my continuing professional development, which is reflected in some of the issues on What is Counselling page.

I am an Individual Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), who are my professional body, and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society www.bps.org.uk

As an Individual Accredited Member of BACP I am bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to its' Professional Conduct procedure, which can be viewed on their website www.bacp.co.uk. I am also bound by the Code of Conduct, Ethical Principles and Guidelines of the British Psychological Society.
