I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Post Graduate Advanced Certificate in Integrative Counselling with Children and Young People, with the focus on play therapy and a Certificate in Couples Counselling. I also have a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology. I also participate in ongoing training as part of my continuing professional development, which is reflected in some of the issues on What is Counselling page.

I am an Individual Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), who are my professional body, and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society www.bps.org.uk

As an Individual Accredited Member of BACP I am bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to its' Professional Conduct procedure, which can be viewed on their website www.bacp.co.uk. I am also bound by the Code of Conduct, Ethical Principles and Guidelines of the British Psychological Society.
